This 300-meter bridge is a dream come true for drivers. If you’re coming from Abu Dhabi via Sheikh Zayed Road, the trip that used to take 10 minutes now takes just one! Those approaching from Umm Suqeim will also notice a huge difference, with travel times reduced from 15 minutes to just 8.

Part Of A Bigger Vision

This bridge is just one aspect of a massive AED 165 million initiative aimed at transforming the Al Barsha area. In partnership with Majid Al Futtaim, RTA is revamping the neighbourhood under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Here’s what’s in store:

• Road Revamps: Resurfacing older road sections in Al Barsha for smoother drives.
