What’s Changing
As part of this major facelift, all performances will be paused for 5 months. To put some salt in the wound, even the popular abra rides on the fountain will be temporarily unavailable (queue sad background music). Expect a full-scale revamp that will bring upgraded choreography, advanced lighting, and a more immersive sound system. Basically, when the fountain comes back, it won’t just be better – it’ll be on another level.

When To Expect The Grand Return
Ready for some good news now? There’s already a strict deadline in place. If everything goes according to plan, the Dubai Fountain will make its grand return by October 2025. That may feel like a long wait, but knowing Dubai, you’ll have plans lined up for every weekend leading up to its grand return!

A Temporary Goodbye, But An Exciting Future
Yes, the idea of five months without the fountain is heartbreaking, but let’s look at the bright side – when it returns, it’s going to be even more spectacular than before.
A place where hundreds of proposals have happened, tourist’s have experienced their first taste of real Dubai magic, and evening strolls filled with laughter – the Dubai Fountain Show has been the backdrop to some of our favourite memories in the city. It will be truly missed during these 5 months.
