Nationwide In Record Time
Keeta started delivering in Dubai in September 2025. Three months later, it was already in all seven emirates. Now the platform, which is Meituan’s international food delivery service, has hit its first birthday in the UAE, and the numbers from year one are big.

Keeta says it didn’t just copy and paste the same kind of delivery app into an already saturated market. It has tweaked the platform to suit how people in the UAE order, and it has been testing new technology along the way. Every order also comes with a true on-time delivery promise.
A Big Table For Local Restaurants
Keeta’s plan from the start was to grow with the UAE’s food scene, not just deliver from it. Before launch, its Founding Vendor Programme gave restaurants zero setup costs, launch visibility and long-term growth tools, so they could jump in from day one.

Keeta has also launched the UAE edition of Programme ABAAD in 2026. It’s a programme that helps Emirati-owned food and beverage small businesses get ready to grow in the digital economy. The first phase was run together with Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and Dubai Chambers.
Keeping Their Riders Cool & Cared For
Your food doesn’t get to you without a delivery partner, and the UAE summer isn’t easy on them. So Keeta has been working on that side too:
- Air-conditioned hubs across the UAE
- Rider support spaces with cold drinks and seating
- Work with local authorities on delivery safety and on rider health and wellbeing during the summer months
Giving Back, One Order At A Time
Keeta has put its app to work for local causes, too:
- KeeShare (Ramadan 2026): Customers could add an extra meal to their order to share with their delivery rider. The meals came from more than 1,200 participating restaurants across the UAE.
- Ourwatr partnership: Keeta teamed up with Ourwatr, a homegrown UAE water business, to make locally produced mineral water easier to find. A portion of every bottle goes to community programmes through the Beit Al Khair Society.
- “Bread for All”: Keeta recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai’s Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation to explore digital donation options for this initiative, which was developed by the Foundation’s Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy. It provides fresh bread and hot meals, free of charge, to eligible beneficiaries through smart machines that run around the clock. The idea is to add donation options to the Keeta app, so the initiative can reach more people and keep going for the long term.
So, What’s Next For Keeta?
Year two is about building on all of the above. Keeta plans to keep shaping its technology and services around local needs, work more closely with restaurants and riders, grow its community projects, and keep working with government entities and local authorities.
