These 4 Red Line Stations To Open Soon
Although the Red Line has resumed operations in both directions, four stations – Onpassive, Equiti, Al Mashreq, and Energy – are currently closed, with Dubai Metro services not stopping at these locations.
However services are expected to return to normal from May 28th!
The authority announced that 150 buses will remain operational to facilitate commuter travel between Business Bay and various destinations including OnPassive, Mall of the Emirates, Mashreq, Equity, Dubai Internet City, and Al Khail Metro stations.
Green Line Operations

Dubai Metro Services That Are Currently Operational
Presently, Dubai Metro services are operational between Centrepoint and Expo 2020, as well as UAE Exchange stations. RTA emphasises that commuters departing from Centrepoint Metro station must transfer at Business Bay or Al Khail stations. RTA further elaborates, “The train will either be replaced or traffic will be diverted to buses to ensure a smooth transfer to the following stations.”
As a result, passengers are required to disembark at Business Bay or Al Khail stations and utilise shuttle buses to reach the subsequent station. However, some commuters have reported limited availability of shuttle bus services, exacerbating their travel inconveniences.

Free Shuttle Services For Passengers
To assist affected passengers, free shuttle bus services will be provided at stations experiencing disruptions. These shuttles aim to help passengers reach their destinations despite the Metro’s operational challenges.

The Dubai Tram operates according to its regular schedule, providing commuters with an alternative mode of transportation.
