Abu Dhabi Mobility (ITC) has made it incredibly easy, launching dedicated buses to take us directly from Abu Dhabi to the festival grounds. The star of the show? Bus Route 408, which starts at the main bus station and passes through stops like Rabdan Mall and Baniyas Court. It’s a convenient, no-cost option, and it runs frequently, so getting to the festival couldn’t be simpler.
Here’s the schedule:
- Weekdays: Buses run from 3pm to 10pm, with trips every 20 minutes. Return trips start at 4:30pm and continue until midnight.
- Weekends and Holidays: To meet the demand, buses run until 1:10am on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.

With up to 48 round trips on weekdays and 54 on weekends, there’s no shortage of buses, so just hop on and relax on the way there.
Prefer a cab? Abu Dhabi Mobility has arranged a dedicated taxi area for festivalgoers. You can grab a taxi right at the festival or book in advance via the Abu Dhabi Taxi app or by calling 600 535353. It’s super easy, and there are even electronic payment options available.
Driving yourself? If you encounter any car trouble, the Road Service Patrol is stationed along key routes to help out with tire changes, fuel, or even a tow if needed.
Need help with bus timings or lost items? The festival contact center has you covered. They’re ready to assist with queries and ensure a smooth experience.
So, whether by free bus, taxi, or car, getting to Sheikh Zayed Festival is a breeze this year.
