With no surprise (or complains), Global Village, is pulling out all the stops for the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad (National Day) celebrations! From November 27 to December 3, the park will come alive under the theme ‘United’. We can expect a full week of spectacular events, traditional performances, and cultural experiences that perfectly celebrate UAE’s rich heritage and vibrant unity. 1. Dazzling Fireworks & Sky Shows
You don’t need to have stayed in Dubai long enough to know that no celebration in Global Village is complete without fireworks. From December 1 to 3, the night sky will light up with breathtaking fireworks bursting in the colours of the UAE flag, starting at 9pm each night. Adding to the magic, UAE-themed drone shows will take place on December 1 and 2, painting stunning patterns and patriotic symbols across the sky in a way only Global Village can pull off.

2. Theatrical Performances & Cultural Shows
Aside from the glitter and sparkle, another amazing highlight this year is the theatrical operetta ‘From the Desert to the Stars’. Which will be performed twice daily from December 1 to 3. The show beautifully captures the UAE’s incredible journey from its desert roots to its rise as a global star. Visitors will also get to enjoy traditional Yola and Harbiya performances throughout the park and on the main stage, bringing a true Emirati rhythm to the celebrations.
And on December 1 at 9pm, Khaleeji artist Khalid Mohammed will take the stage for a special live performance. His soulful tunes and lively beats are sure to get the crowd celebrating in true UAE style.
3. Explore Emirati Heritage & Handcrafts
Culture takes centre stage across Global Village with ten impressive installations showcasing Emirati traditions. Visitors can browse through authentic handcrafts and unique cultural displays at the Heritage Village. This is also where artisans will demonstrate traditional crafts that have been passed down through generations.
4. Shop, Eat & Celebrate The Union
Don’t miss out on the Emirati and Union Day products available at the Emirates Pavilion and the 971 Community Pavilion. And the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works Pavilion. And of course, no National Day celebration is truly complete without food! Indulge in classic Emirati delicacies like Luqaimat and Ragag bread. And other traditional dishes that capture the heart of the UAE’s culinary heritage.
