2020 is about to end and everyone is expecting a positive year ahead. In the spirit of the new year, HH Sheikh Mohammed said, “the fastest country to recover in the world.” These last few weeks of 2020 are very important for the UAE because the city of Dubai is planning to host the 40th edition of GITEX Technology Week.

In this 40th anniversary of GITEX Technology Week will feature more than 60 countries and 1,200 innovative tech enterprises along with their trends, startups and concepts. The GITEX Technology also promotes the best inventions and tech innovations, like in the past, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) introduced the self driving taxi.
The GITEX Technology week will happen between 6th to 10th December. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister tweeted about the 40th edition would be the “most important and realistic global technical event in 2020,” followed a courageous statement claiming “the UAE will be the fastest country to recover in the world and our institutions have proven their ability to adapt.”
