Ready or not, here comes your monthly fuel price update , and this one comes with a bit of a sting. On Monday, June 30, the UAE’s fuel price committee officially announced the petrol and diesel rates for the month… and yep, we’re looking at a noticeable jump. So, if you were enjoying the calm, steady fuel rates over the past couple of months – sorry to break it to you, but unfortunately July is turning up the heat at the pump too. Sigh, yes!

Here’s What You Need To Pay For Fuel
Let’s cut to the chase: Super 98 petrol is now AED 2.70 per litre, up from AED 2.58 in June. Special 95 petrol has climbed to AED 2.58, compared to AED 2.47 last month. E-Plus 91 petrol is now AED 2.51 per litre, up from AED 2.39, whereas diesel will cost AED 2.63 per litre, compared to AED 2.45 in June.
What Does The Fuel Price Rise Means For Your Budget?

If you’re commuting daily, running errands, or making quick dashes between summer camps and malls – your fuel bills are going to nudge up a bit. Not ideal, but with temperatures soaring, switching to public transport might not be your first choice either.
So, now’s the time to plan smart: combine errands, carpool when you can, and maybe ease off the spontaneous midnight McFlurry runs – unless you’re really craving it (in which case, we don’t judge).
Let’s hope this is just a midsummer spike and not a new trend. We’ll be watching next month’s update closely. Till then, drive safe, stay cool, and top up before the queues build up!
