Next Stop: Jumeirah & Beyond
The next phase of the project will take the road even further – right through the Jumeirah Real Estate area. This section will have a 2-lane road in each direction, making the route even more connected. Etihad Rail is also working on a regular-speed passenger service, travelling at 200 km/h. This route will cover all seven emirates, going as far as the Oman border. It’s perfect for daily commuters or those planning a scenic ride. The train will carry up to 400 passengers per trip, making it an ideal choice for work and leisure travel.
No official launch dates have been announced for the train projects, stay tuned to Gulf Buzz and we’ll keep you in the loop!
