Say Hello To The Frosty Challenge
On Sunday, May 18, 2025, get ready to break a sweat… a cold sweat… as you dash your way through the frosty racecourse inside Ski Dubai’s -4°C winter wonderland. It’s definitely the only race in the UAE where the slopes are icy, but the competition is straight fire.
Now in its sixth ice-capped edition, the DXB Snow Run is back, cooler than ever, thanks to Ski Dubai and the Dubai Sports Council teaming up once again.

Who Can Join This Snow Run?
Anyone between the ages of 13 to 70 can sign up. Whether you’re running solo or want to gather your sporty squad, there are individual and group categories to choose from. It’s a great excuse for a family challenge or even a friendly freeze-off with your crew.
Talking of the race formats, you’ve got two cool choices:
- 3km run (that’s 3 loops around Ski Dubai)
- 5km run (yep, 5 icy loops of glory)
Ready to feel the thrill and challenge of racing through actual snow? You better bring a change of clothes, because believe it or not, this chilly chase might just leave you sweaty under all those layers.

Registrations are open until Thursday, May 15, 2025, starting from AED 94.50. But be warned: spots will sell out. For those who managed to register before April 7, you would have gotten a cool 30% discount.
Everyone who crosses the finish line earns a finisher’s medal, and the top three in each category walk away with ice-cold bragging rights and some pretty cool prizes too.
