Both the Dubai Metro and Tram will operate nonstop for over 43 hours. Here are the timings you need to know:
- Dubai Metro: The Red and Green Lines will operate continuously for 43 hours, covering all 53 stations. Operating continuously from 5:00 AM on December 31 to 11:59 PM on January 1, 2025.
- Dubai Tram: Running from 6:00 AM on December 31 until 1:00 AM on January 2, 2025.
Important notice: The Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station will be closed until 5 PM or until it reaches capacity. And for alternative ideas to catch the Burj Khalifa Fireworks, here are the best metro stations to use:

RTA Buses

Road Closures In Dubai
To manage the influx of visitors heading to New Year’s Eve celebrations, Dubai will implement gradual road closures starting at 4 PM on Tuesday, December 31:
Key Roads Closing at 4 PM:

- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard
- Financial Centre Street (Lower Deck)
- Al Mustaqbal Street
- Burj Khalifa Street
- Al Asayel Road

- Sheikh Zayed Road (gradual closure) starting at 11 PM
Extra Parking Spaces: To accommodate the crowds, approximately 20,000 additional parking spots will be available at Dubai Mall, Zabeel, and Emaar Boulevard.
Alternative Parking: Visitors can also park at Al Wasl or the GDRFA parking areas. From there, free shuttle buses will transport you to the festivities.

Dubai On Duty For Your Protection
Dubai’s Events Security Committee announces that 8530 Dubai police officers, 1097 firefighters, 2776 Dubai Municipality Staff, and 5600 RTA staff will be deployed throughout Dubai during New Year’s Eve. Additionally, more than 622 paramedics, 200 ambulances and 1,800 medical staff will be on standby to address any emergencies, supported by 10 hospitals ready for urgent care.
