Ladies’ Night is about to have a whole new meaning in Dubai soon! If you love the privilege of having a women’s only cabin on the metro, you are going to love having a women’s only beach so much more! Yes, you read that right. Al Mamzar Corniche Beach will soon transform into Dubai’s first fully dedicated woman’s only beach adorned with cycling paths, night swimming options, and lush green spaces! I have all the details you want to know, so keep reading to find out more.
A Safe Space For Women In Dubai
We all know Dubai is the beacon of safety for women, but it never hurts to have some extra privacy, right? This 125,000-square-metre beachfront will include plenty of attractions for all ages, including a 5,000-square-metre area that will host seasonal events/ activities and a 2,000-square-metre skateboarding zone. The beach will also feature running, walking, and cycling paths that seamlessly connect the Al Mamzar Creek Beach with Al Mamzar Park. It looks like there’s going to be something for everyone!

A Smart & Sustainable Beach
Al Mamzar Corniche Beach will also embrace cutting-edge technology to ensure safety and convenience. Smart services like AI-supported surveillance systems, advanced drowning rescue tools, and crowd management technologies will be in place. Even your belongings will be safe, thanks to smart luggage lockers. Talk about a total upgrade from all the other public beaches we’ve experienced in Dubai.
Construction Of Phase 1
Work on the first phase of the project began in June last year and has already reached 45% completion. Spanning a massive 275,000 square metres, this phase features a variety of amenities, including a 200-metre pedestrian bridge that connects both banks of the creek for easy access. There’s also a 300-metre-long night swimming beach designed to accommodate people of determination and a 5-kilometre walkway with separate running and cycling tracks.

Once complete, Al Mamzar Corniche Beach will be a vibrant destination for the female residents and tourists of Dubai. Set to open by the end of 2025, stay tuned to Gulf Buzz for all the latest information of this incredible project!
