Illegal Modifications Lead To Impoundments
Just last week, 23 vehicles and 3 motorbikes were seized in the Al Khawaneej area for creating loud noises due to illegal modifications. These actions led to strict consequences – 24 traffic fines were issued to the violators, including vehicle impound. In Dubai, If your vehicle is impounded, it could cost you up to AED 10,000 to get it back, according to Maj-Gen Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police.
