Dubai’s Popular La Mer Expansion Plan Almost 90% Complete

Every single person who has lived in Dubai probably has a core memory attached to La Mer. The popular beach destination for residents and tourists will now be redeveloped from La Mer South to J1 Beach. The newly opened J1 beach is scheduled to open to the public by 2023 end. La Mer To Be Demolished & Redeveloped As J1 Beach

J1 Beach will be developed into a first-of-its-kind flagship beach resort destination that will offer premium high-end options in the heart of Jumeirah, gorgeous sea views & the best F&B offerings including 10 new restaurants – all of which will all be upscale joints inspired by the French Riviera.

Anticipate luxurious venues with exclusive valet services, shuttle options, covered walkways, and a dedicated jetty for those arriving by boat.

There will also be visitors valet and parking services, green pathways that will be shaded during the day and illuminated at night for beachgoers and golf cart shuttle services. Visitors can even arrive by boat from the sea through an epic framed waterfront reception.

F&B Offerings At J1 Beach

For the first time in the UAE, there will be three brand new beachfront experiences – Sirene Beach by Gaia, Gigi Rigolatto and Bâoli – as well as ten other upscale restaurants. The new restaurants for the J1 Beach will be fully licensed for day-to-night trade.

Gaia

Gaia is Dubai’s home-grown Greek-Mediterranean concept developed by restauranteurs Evgeny Kuzin and Chef Izu Ani. They were voted among Middle East & North Africa;s 50 best restaurants 2022. The restaurant aims to showcase the core elements of Grecian culture.

Kuzin, who is the co-founder of Gaia, said, “Research has shown a shift in global holiday trends, with a large increase in people opting for regular recreation at beaches and restaurants rather than travelling. Gigi Rigolatto

Merex and Paris Society International have come together to bring Italian restaurant Gigi Rigolatto to the UAE. Voted amongst the world’s top brands, Gigi Rigolatto will feature n interior restaurant, two exterior terraces, a garden, a Bellini bar, a swimming pool, a kids’ circus, a wellness area and direct access to the beach.

Bâoli

A lister visited Bâoli at J1 Beach will also make its debut in the Middle East and will offer modern Japanese cuisine.
