8. TABŪ

The location is enormous, spanning two floors. We predict this will be popular with Dubai’s party scene because it has a private party area and an upstairs nightclub with a secretive, dark atmosphere called The Other Side. The terrace offers spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa and a location for a seriously good Instagram shot; imagine Cé La Vi’s swing but with sculptures of sumo wrestlers. The menu is Japanese with a modern twist and is part of a fine-dining concept. The Observatory, an oldie but a goodie, is still one of the best places to take guests that you want to impress. The views of the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina from the 52nd floor are simply unbeatable, and this is a great place if you enjoy meat because there are many prime cuts available. It might not be as trendy and brand-new as some of the places on this list, but it still has a lot of power.

12. ZETA Seventy-Seven

The rooftop infinity pool, which is regrettably only accessible to in-house guests, is all anyone can talk about when it comes to the recently opened Address Beach Resort. But if you climb to ZETA Seventy-Seven, which is, you guessed it, on the 77th floor, you can take in the same view. Again, the costs are exorbitant, with minimum table spends starting at AED 700, but how often can you say you dined next to the tallest infinity pool in the world?

13. Al Dawaar Revolving Restaurant

The decision of where to sit in a restaurant is important, and we’re not ashamed to admit that we’ve frequently moved from window to window, sat down, and then got up again. However, at Al Dawaar Revolving Restaurant, you can be sure that you will always have the best view of Dubai. You can savour traditional buffet fare while taking in 360-degree views of Deira and beyond during the 90 minutes it takes to complete the full rotation. The novelty wears off eventually, we’ll admit (it’s the only rotating restaurant in the city for a reason), but the views from the 25th floor make this place well worth a trip at least once.

Another hotel to cross off your Dubai bucket list is The Burj Al Arab. If you can’t afford the steep room rate, a good way to check it out is at the sky-high Al Muntaha restaurant in Dubai. You only have one life, after all.

Italian eighth-generation butcher Cecchini is passionate about waste-free cooking and sustainable produce. He has spent more than 43 years honing his craft. Cecchini is from the Chianti region of Tuscany. Must-try dishes at Carna Dubai include the renowned bistecca alla Fiorentina from Tuscany, which is said to be one of the butcher-chef’s most well-known creations, as well as Chianti sushi and Cecchini’s version of tartare made with his own olive oil. If you reside in Dubai, it is virtually impossible to scroll through your Instagram feed without coming across at least one photo of a person posing on the swing outside of the Burj Khalifa at CÉ LA VI. All of us have been there and done that; are you one of them? You’d better book something right away. For those who have been to the original CÉ LA VI, up on the roof of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, you can expect contemporary Asian food in addition to the breathtaking photo opportunities from the 54th floor, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. 17. Highest View Restaurant & Lounge

When it first opened in 2018, the Gevora Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road surpassed the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai to claim the title of highest hotel in the world from a height of… one metre. Since then, the Gevora Hotel and we have dined on its fame, and the Highest View is a fantastic way to take it all in. The 75th floor is still quite high, even though it might not have the best views on this list, and the afternoon tea is reasonably priced.

You’ll feel like you’re on a Greek island as you graze on dishes like tzatziki, tiropita, and grilled octopus while admiring the breathtaking views from the 46th floor.
