5,000 Iftar Meals Every Day
With support from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment and the Dubai Charity Association, the initiative aims to serve 150,000 Iftar meals over the course of the holy month. Every evening, 5,000 meals will be distributed across major labour communities, including Jebel Ali, Al Quoz, Dubai Investment Park, and Muhaisnah.

Year Of The Community
Ramadan is a time of reflection, unity, and generosity, and the ‘Goodness Bus’ embodies these values. Not only that but this initiative is part of the UAE’s “Year of the Community”, a national effort to strengthen social responsibility and support those in need. Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director General of GDRFA Dubai, emphasized that this initiative is a way to express gratitude and create a sense of community. “It’s about more than just providing meals – it’s about recognising the hardworking individuals who contribute to Dubai’s growth and fostering a spirit of solidarity,” he said.
The ‘Goodness Bus’ is not only delivering Iftar meals, it’s delivering a message of gratitude and inclusivity to the compassionate community of Dubai.
