The adventure travel company used Instagram hashtags to determine the most Instagrammed destinations throughout the world, and the study documented the number of hashtags associated with each city. The top cities where individuals shared Instagram photos were then rated, with Dubai finishing fourth with a hashtag volume of 120,230,877.
London, England took the first place, followed by Paris, France. The data gathering found that 157,107,916 hashtags are tagging the British metropolis on Instagram, proving that people prefer to take photos in London. The French capital, Paris, came in second with a hashtag volume of 136,537,201. With 125,276,919 hashtags designating the city on the photo-sharing app, Istanbul came in the third position.
