And just like that, you know summer is near when your favourite Dubai attractions announce they are closing for a few months. I mean, with the soaring temperatures in Dubai from June to September, it really comes as no surprise that these outdoor attractions are taking a little hiatus to keep us and themselves safe from the summer heat. But even though these temporary goodbyes are bittersweet to make, I always find it super fun to see all the ways these attractions come back bigger and better for us each year! So, come along, and let’s find out which of your favourite Dubai spots are taking a quick pause for the summer.

1. Dubai Fountain Show – April 19

While the Dubai Fountain Show isn’t a seasonal attractions that closes annually, this year they are taking a well-deserved break for a little facelift. The iconic Dubai Fountain at Dubai Mall will have its final performance on April 19, before it closes for some exciting renovations starting in May. Once it’s back in October you can expect to see smoother choreography with some advanced tech and and a brand-new sound and light system! And while I’m at it a little more sad news can’t hurt – along with the Dubai Fountain Show, the fountain dhow cruise and boardwalk will also be closed during the renovation time. Shows happen every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
2. Global Village – May 11

When it comes to Global Village, no introduction is needed but a warning is – you only have one month left till they close on Sunday, May 11! This year was extra special with new pavilions representing Jordan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, plus over 175 rides, 250+ food spots, and a swanky new Restaurant Plaza with two-storey dining.
Opening hours:
- Sun–Wed: 4pm–12am
- Thu–Sat: 4pm–1am
- Tuesdays (except public holidays) are for ladies, couples, and families only
Ticket prices:
- Weekday: AED 25
- Any day: AED 30
- Free for kids under 3, seniors 65+, and People of Determination

3. Dubai Safari Park – Last Bookings on June 1

While there’s no official closing date, Dubai Safari Park’s website only shows bookings available until June 1, 2025. The park is home to nearly 3,000 animals across six themed zones, powered largely by solar energy. You absolutely cannot miss the Children’s Farm, and the lush green spaces around the park which makes it all the perfect day out!
Opening hours: Daily from 9am to 6pm (last entry at 5pm)

4. Dubai Miracle Garden – Closing Date Not Confirmed Yet

No official closing date yet, but based on previous years, the stunning Dubai Miracle Garden usually shuts down in June. It kicked off its 13th season in October 2024, spreading over 72,000 square metres with 150 million flowers in jaw-dropping arrangements. Guinness World Records? Yep, they’ve got three! From the largest vertical garden to a full Airbus A380 flower arrangement and a Mickey Mouse topiary, it’s a floral fantasy.

- Weekdays: 9am–9pm
- Weekends & public holidays: 9am–11pm

5. Dubai Garden Glow – Closing Date Not Confirmed Yet

Get ready to light up your night! Dubai Garden Glow, one of the world’s largest glow-in-the-dark parks, hasn’t announced its summer closure yet, but it usually shuts down during June. Stroll around 5 glowing zones, over 500 dazzling installations, and plenty of visual surprises.

- Sun–Fri: 5pm–11pm
- Sat & public holidays: 5pm–12am

6. Hatta Wadi Hub – Closing Date Not Confirmed Yet

Adventure junkies, adrenaline seekers, and nature lovers you’ll have to wave goodbye to Hatta Wadi Hub from May to September. So plan your hikes, kayaks, and mountain escapes while you still can. Known for their adrenaline-pumping fun like zip lining, mountain biking, and the epic Hatta Drop-In water slide, it’s the ultimate getaway.
