The Al Dhafra festival will start in early October and will take place till January. This year it is said to be even bigger than the last time, it is said that a total of AED 110 million worth of prizes across 2937 categories will be available (including the camel beauty contest). This festival will start on the 8th of October and will continue till the 22nd of January. Some things that you can expect here are Arabian horseracing, traditional handicrafts, Saluki races and falconry contests. As for the camel beauty contest, it will be held in Madinat Zayed (Liwa), Razeen and Sweihan.
