CN Travellers annual Readers’ Choice Awards 2022 results are out for the world’s best airports & we are so thrilled to announce that Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) & Dubai International Airport (DXB) have made it to the prestigious top 10 best global airports list 2022. DXB opened on September 30, 1960 & in 2019 served 86.4 million customers, connecting more than 240 destinations across six continents on more than 100 airlines.

DXB’s world-class facilities include the USD 1.2 billion Concourse D, a state of the art facility serving all international airlines that operate into Terminal 1, Concourse A – the world’s first and largest purpose-built A380 facility that is one of the three Concourses used exclusively by Emirates airline, as well as Terminal 2.

The airport also houses one of the world’s biggest duty-free shopping centers, zen gardens and nap pods!

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is the second largest airport in the UAE. As a base for over 30 airlines currently flying to and from more than 100 destinations, in over 50 countries, their objective is to make passenger journeys smoother, safer and more enjoyable.

AUH was rated as a 4 star airport for the second year in a row in 2015 by Airport Council International (ACI), placing it once again among the top global airports, and it was named ACI’s “Best Airport for the Middle East region” the year before, as a result of the airport’s ranking in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey results — a key benchmark for customer service in the global airports’ industry.
