All You Need To Know About The COVID-19 Vaccination Drive In The UAE

The UAE government started the vaccination drive in the month of December, 2020. The vaccine is now available to the public of all the seven emirates. It is advised to all residents and citizens to get the vaccine to protect themselves and others from the virus.

The Sinopharm vaccine is available for the citizens and residents of UAE. This vaccine will be given in two doses, each dose 21 days apart from the other. All the residents above the age of 16 years are eligible for the vaccine, while pregnant women and citizens below the age of 16 are not. Currently the vaccine is provided at no cost.

The following six places provide you with free COVID-19 vaccine, which are, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. You need to have your health insurance and emirates ID in order to get vaccinated.

Where to get vaccinated? 

Abu Dhabi:

For people in Abu Dhabi, the vaccine is now available at all the clinics run by Seha, which the emirate’s public health operator, and at clinics and hospitals run by VPS Healthcare.

Dubai:

Sharjah:

Ajman:

In Ajman, the vaccine is available at Thumbay University Hospital, Al Humaidiyah Centre, Prime Medical Centre EGM, Mushairef Health Centre, Saudi German Hospital, Al Manama Health Centre, Amina Hospital and Muzaira Health Centre.
