The World Padel Tour (WPT) 2023 season is set to commence in Abu Dhabi with the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master. It will be held from 21 – 26 February at Bab Al Nojoum on Hudayriyat Island, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. What To Expect At The Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master
The event is bringing the highest-seeded international players to Hudayriyat Island. Bab Al Nojoum will be transformed to have purpose-built courts right on the beach, a fan village with music and entertainment, and a food festival featuring some of the UAE’s most anticipated food outlets. Moreover, the tournament will be WPT’s first out of a total of 27 tournaments in the 2023 season which will be held across 14 countries, marking the tour’s most diverse season yet.
The event will offer fun recreational activities for the whole family, and spectators will have access to an exclusive hospitality lounge with premium dining and beverage options and a dedicated VIP Majlis.

The tournament is organised in collaboration with Global MICE Organisation Limited (GMOL Events). HE Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, stated that the tournament’s organisation in Abu Dhabi would position the emirate as a global destination for hosting the most prestigious international sporting events. The Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master will be WPT’s most significant competition on the tour’s circuit and is the only Master tournament that will be held in the Middle East for the next five years.
The tournament will also be broadcast live in over 130 countries. Additionally, the event sponsors include Abu Dhabi property developer Modon Properties, the UAE’s leading diversified postal corporation Emirates Post Group, multinational food chain McDonald’s, world-class hospitality brand Hilton, leading Spanish brewer Estrella Damm, sports equipment company Head, and leading Spanish Padel equipment supplier Bullpadel, among others.
