SEVEN Group Is Bringing Fitness, Wellness and Food Together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, four Dubai wellness brands are turning pink for a cause that matters.
SEVEN, GRAY Wellness Club, YOU Wellness Clinic and The Dose Kitchen are marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a series of activities across Dubai, ranging from boxing and a sunset run club to a women’s wellness gathering, complimentary breast health checks and a special Pink Menu supporting breast cancer care in the UAE.
Here’s Qhat’s happening Rhroughout Pinktober:
Fight For Pink With A Boxing Session At SEVEN
First up, SEVEN in Al Quoz is swapping the usual workout for a boxing session in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Fight for Pink: Boxing with SOAVE takes place on Thursday, 15 October at 6pm, bringing participants together for a dedicated boxing class.
Everyone taking part will also receive a complimentary shake and exclusive gifting from SOAVE.
It’s an easy way to get involved in Pinktober while still getting a proper workout in.
Take Pinktober To Kite Beach With A Sunset Run
If running is more your thing, SEVEN is also heading outside later in the month.
Run Club with Cadence takes place on Friday, 23 October at 5pm, starting from Common Grounds at Kite Beach.
The sunset coastal run is open to all paces, so you don’t need to be chasing a PB to join. Cadence will also be providing hydration for participants along the way.
The message for the evening is simple: Pink is the pace.
GRAY & YOU Wellness Clinic Are Hosting An Afternoon Just For Women
Over at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, GRAY Wellness Club and YOU Wellness Clinic are bringing movement, education and nutrition together for Move, Learn, Nourish: A Women’s Gathering.
Taking place on Wednesday, 21 October from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, the afternoon begins with a grounding yoga flow led by coach Petra.
That will be followed by an open conversation around women’s health with YOU Wellness Clinic and menstrual care brand Adaye, before guests get hands-on with an energy bites workshop with Scoop Foods.
It’s designed to create a relaxed environment where women can move, learn, ask questions and have more open conversations around their health.
You Can Also Book A Complimentary Breast Health Check
One of the most useful initiatives taking place throughout the month comes from YOU Wellness Clinic.
Women can book a complimentary 25-minute breast health check with Dr. Siham, which includes a review of personal history, a gentle breast examination and guidance on how to carry out monthly self-checks at home.
Importantly, this is intended as an awareness and wellness check rather than a scan or medical diagnosis.
Appointments are available by booking directly with YOU Wellness Clinic.
The Dose Kitchen Is Giving Its Menu A Pink Makeover
Pinktober is making its way onto the menu too.
Throughout October, The Dose Kitchen is collaborating with Al Jalila Foundation on a special Pink Menu, featuring a Shake, Yoghurt Granola and Double Chocolate Protein Bar.
A percentage from every Pink Menu sale will support Al Jalila Foundation’s work in breast cancer care across the UAE.
So this is one occasion where ordering something pink can actually help give something back.
