Customers got messages on Tuesday with a simple promise. 1GB of free data for every year you’ve been with the company. So the longer you’ve stuck around, the more you get. Etisalat Through The Years
Etisalat started life in 1976 as Emirates Telecommunications Corporation. It was the country’s first telecom operator and began as a joint venture just five years after the UAE was formed. This year, the company officially completed 50 years of operations.
And guess what!? If you’re on the Emirati plan, the deal gets a lot bigger. You’ll receive 10GB for every year you’ve been an Etisalat subscriber. The free data is valid for a week and you can claim it until October 13.

The offer also covers select roaming packages. The bestseller weekly roaming combo pack now gives you 5GB of data instead of the usual 2.5GB, plus 500 roaming minutes. It’s valid for a week. Buying this pack also gets you discount vouchers from the operator’s travel partners on the Smiles app, which stay valid for six months.
