Abu Dhabi, get ready for a little magic in the air. Straight from London’s West End, the award-winning musical Mary Poppins is coming to the capital for the very first time. This magical show is produced by theatre legend Cameron Mackintosh and presented by Disney Theatrical Group. It’s the same world-class production that has wowed audiences around the globe.
The show is being brought to Abu Dhabi by Proactiv Entertainment, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral. Together, they’re continuing to bring major international productions to Yas Island, making the capital an even more exciting place for live entertainment.

Based on the stories by P. L. Travers and the beloved Mary Poppins, the musical tells the story of the world’s favourite nanny arriving at Cherry Tree Lane to bring order, joy and a little life advice to the Banks family. But this isn’t just a simple retelling. The stage version brings the story to life in a whole new way, with stunning choreography, clever stage effects and moments that genuinely make you wonder, “How did they do that?”
