Dubai’s Ramadan Markets Are Back! 7 Markets You Can’t Miss This Season

Ramadan is expected to begin on Thursday, 19 February 2026, according to the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department. As the UAE prepares for the Holy Month, one of Dubai’s favourite seasonal traditions returns, the Ramadan markets. From heritage-filled souqs in old Dubai to alfresco bazaars, these markets are all about culture, food and family fun. Here’s a list of Ramadan markets you need to visit this year.

1. Ramadan Souq At Deira

Dubai Municipality has officially announced the return of the Ramadan Souq in Deira for its fourth season. Set in the historic Grand Souq area, this heritage market celebrates authentic Emirati traditions while supporting local traders. Get ready to stroll around and explore traditional stalls, Ramadan essentials, and Haq Al Laila items. Their food exhibitions, interactive workshops, and kids’ activities are not to be missed! A miniature souq will also run alongside the historic Deira Souq, offering competitive prices and a nostalgic shopping experience rooted in old Dubai.

2. Hai Ramadan At Expo City Dubai

This Ramadan, Al Wasl Plaza transforms into a traditional Emirati neighbourhood with Hai Ramadan. This is a cultural celebration designed around togetherness, heritage and family. Here, visitors can experience a grand communal Iftar marked by the firing of the traditional Iftar Cannon beneath the iconic Al Wasl Dome. Rooted in Emirati culture, the event reflects the true spirit of Ramadan with activities for all ages.

3. Ripe Market Ramadan Edition

The much-loved Ripe Market brings Ramadan vibes to Dubai Police Academy Park with themed workshops for kids, oud performances, and plenty of Iftar-friendly food options. From organic produce and handmade goods to open-mic sessions, this weekend-only market offers something for everyone. And the best part, it’s all set in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere.

4. Ramadan At Festival Bay

Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall hosts a lively Ramadan market featuring a variety of flavours and family-friendly entertainment. Expect delicious Iftar and suhoor options, along with live performances by Oud and Qanoon players. With the waterfront setting adding a touch of sparkle, it’s a great spot for relaxed post-Iftar strolls.

5. Ramadan Wonders At Global Village

Global Village turns up the Ramadan spirit with 30 pavilions and 3,500+ outlets, showcasing traditions from over 90 cultures. Visitors can enjoy extended opening hours, cultural shopping and festive food stalls throughout the Holy Month.

6. Ramadan District At Jumeirah Emirates Tower

This popular pop-up market is expected to return, bringing shopping, food and cultural experiences back to the area around the Museum of the Future. Known for its curated brand stalls and Iftar-friendly bites, it’s usually a go-to for gift shopping and post-Iftar plans. Visitors can expect live music, family-friendly activities and plenty of dining options, all set in an easy-to-access location.

7. Jewel Of The Creek Ramadan Market At The Dubai Creek

Set along Dubai Creek, Jewel of the Creek becomes a lively cultural hub during the Holy Month, featuring a Ramadan Market, family-friendly activities and evening entertainment along the waterfront promenade. Here, visitors can explore retail, food, and artisanal stalls, enjoy live Oud and Qanun performances, and participate in kids’ workshops, such as lantern-making. For an authentic, traditional Emirati experience, guests can participate in a Bedouin cultural activity. Several Iftar options are also available for those looking to break their fast by the water.
