If you park around Dubai regularly, there are a few new paid parking zones and codes you’ll want to keep on your radar. Parkin has been rolling out paid parking across more residential, retail and high-traffic areas, with clear signage and new zone codes to make things easier to follow. (Also if you just rolled your eyes, don’t worry I’m right there with you). Keep reading to find out all the important details you need to know.

1. Supermarket Parking Zones
Paid parking is being introduced at selected Spinneys and Waitrose locations, managed by Parkin. These locations now fall under regulated parking zones, with clear signboards and app-based payment options.
Spinneys locations with paid parking:
- Trade Center Road
- Karama
- Motor City
- Al Meydan
- Umm Suqeim
Waitrose locations with paid parking:
- Motor City
- Al Thanya
Each location is clearly marked, so always check the signage before you park.
2. International City: New Paid Zones Incoming
Dubai International City is officially joining the paid parking list.
- Paid parking starts: February 1, 2026
- New signboards are already being installed in clusters such as France and China
Make sure to check the zone code displayed when parking in these areas.
3. Studio City, Outsource City & Sports City
Several popular communities now fall under newly regulated parking zones, each with its own code:
- Dubai Studio City & Outsource City – Code T
- Dubai Sports City – Code S
- Academic City – Code F
These areas now operate as paid parking zones, with signage clearly showing tariffs and timings.
4. Al Jaddaf & Mirdif Zones
More residential areas are seeing structured parking management with specific zone numbers and variable rates:
- Al Jaddaf – Zones 326C & 326D
- Mirdif – Zones 251C & 251D
These zones use peak and non-peak pricing, so timings matter when you park.
5. Mosque Parking Zones (MP & M Codes)
Parking around mosques is now managed under MP and M codes in several areas, including Al Qusais.
- Free parking during prayer times
- Paid parking applies outside prayer hours
Always check the code and timing on nearby signboards.
6. Al Sufouh 2 & Gate Avenue – Al Khail
A couple of key areas have also seen updates to their parking setup:
- Al Sufouh 2 – Zone F
- Gate Avenue – Al Khail – Zone 365N (now a 24-hour paid parking zone)
What To Look Out For
As you park around the city, keep an eye on:
- New parking codes: F, S, T, W, WP, MP
- Updated signboards showing zone codes and timings
- Peak vs non-peak tariffs, which apply in many of these areas
Checking the zone code before paying can save you from unnecessary fines, and a lot of confusion.
