This year, public and private sector employees will enjoy a paid break on 1st and 2nd December. Since this falls on the weekend, employees get a four-day break from Saturday through Tuesday, giving you the perfect chance for a quick getaway. 1. Male, Maldives

If you’re unable to obtain an e-Visa, applicants can apply through the Turkish consulate in Dubai.

3. Tbilisi, Georgia

Stroll through its quaint streets, such as Rustaveli Avenue and Old Tbilisi, to discover medieval ruins, ancient churches, and elegant European-style buildings. Alternatively, you can get a 30-day tourist visa on arrival at Azerbaijan’s airports, as long as your passport and UAE residency are valid for at least six months.

5. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

To travel to Amman, most UAE residents can obtain either an e-Visa or a visa on arrival. An e-Visa can be obtained through an online application and is recommended for a smoother process. Alternatively, residents can purchase the Jordan Pass, which provides entry to over 40 sites, including Petra. The pass can be purchased online and is valid for those staying at least three nights. To apply for the visa, a passport valid for at least six months and travel insurance are required.

9. Doha, Qatar

10. Mumbai, India

Prior approval through the e-Visa online portal is required – all you need to do is fill out an online application form.

11. Kuwait City, Kuwait

Planning a cultural getaway that’s not too far from Dubai, then Kuwait City is an excellent choice!
