It wouldn’t be a list of the most beautiful mosques in UAE if i didn’t start off with the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. This grand structure welcomes people from all walks of life, offering a glimpse into the UAE’s rich culture and deep spiritual traditions. One of the world’s largest mosques, this masterpiece was the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE. Inside, you’ll be awed by gold-plated Swarovski chandeliers, intricate marble mosaics, and shimmering pools that reflect the stunning architecture.

The main prayer hall is a masterpiece, featuring arched stained-glass windows, Quranic inscriptions on the walls, a grand chandelier, and rich red carpeting.

6. Al Salam Mosque – Dubai
The Al Salam Mosque is a showstopper with its crimson-red brick exterior, golden domes, and white accents. One of the most remarkable features is the shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) inscribed on the facade. At night, the mosque comes alive with dramatic green and gold lighting, making it even more captivating. Though not open to the public, it’s well worth admiring from the outside.

Also known as Dubai’s “Blue Mosque”, the Al Farooq Omar bin Khattab Mosque is inspired by Istanbul’s Sultan Ahmed Mosque. One of Dubai’s largest mosques, it seamlessly blends Ottoman and Andalusian styles. It boasts four towering minarets, 21 domes, and 124 stained-glass windows, along with thousands of hand-painted iznik tiles imported from Turkey. Inside, the gold and red carpets add to the mosque’s warmth, while outside, the location offers a serene view of Al Safa Park.

10. City Walk Mosque – Dubai
Blending seamlessly into City Walk’s urban setting, this mosque takes an unconventional approach to design. Instead of domes and towering minarets, it stands as a simple, rust-brown cube with sleek glass doors. At night, the mosque is softly illuminated, creating an ethereal glow. One of its standout features is a giant sculpture by Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej, inspired by a Quranic verse, which flows across the building’s surface in stunning Arabic calligraphy.
