For the Ministry of Education (MoE) curriculum, it’s 188 days, and for international curriculum, it’s 182 days. Dubai Private Schools: Academic Year Starting in April
March 1 to March 31, 2024: End of Academic Year Schools can close any day within this window as they conclude the academic year on a high note.
April 1, 2024: Start of Academic Year Embark on a new academic journey, refreshed and ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
July 4 to August 26, 2024: Summer Break Gear up for a fantastic summer break filled with adventures and relaxation.
December 16 to January 3, 2024: Winter Break Chill out during the winter break, enjoying the festive season with family and friends.
When Are The Next Public Holidays For Schools?
The next long weekend in the UAE is just around the corner, following the Holy Month of Ramadan. Get ready for the first Eid holiday of the year, Eid Al Fitr, from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3 on the Islamic Calendar. This could mean a glorious nine-day break from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12, in the Gregorian calendar.
After that, keep an eye out for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha 2024. Depending on the moon sighting, these holidays could fall on Saturday, June 15, and then Sunday, June 16, to Tuesday, June 18, offering the perfect opportunity for a four-day weekend.
