Back in February, the US House of Representatives voted to remove the vaccination requirement for foreign travellers, and it’s finally coming to fruition. The negative PCR test requirement was dropped in June 2020, and now proof of vaccination will no longer be necessary for most travellers.

Moreover, non-residents entering the US via ferry or ship will no longer need to be vaccinated starting May 12. With these updates to the US travel restrictions, tourists visiting the country can have a much more hassle-free experience.
Other Countries Easing Travel Restrictions
It’s not just the US that is easing its travel restrictions post-pandemic. China has recently lifted its travel restrictions, with tourists no longer needing a negative PCR test to enter the country. Additionally, for UAE residents, applying for a Japanese visit visa online from May 8 will no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.
