Abu Dhabi-based airline, Etihad Airways, has announced a summer sale for UAE residents looking to travel during the upcoming season. As part of the promotion, the airline is offering reduced fares to several destinations including Kolkata, Cairo, Manila, Singapore, Paris, and London. Economy class return airfare from Abu Dhabi to Kolkata starts from as low as AED 995, with fares to other cities ranging from AED 1,195 to AED 2,795.

The UAE-India corridor is a popular air route for passenger traffic, as millions of Indian nationals live and work in the UAE. To cater to this demand, Etihad Airways has also relaunched daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Kolkata, providing a total of seven non-stop services per week to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. Kolkata, known as the cultural capital of India, boasts exceptional architecture and dynamic markets.
Travellers looking to take advantage of the summer sale can book their flights at special fares until March 31, 2023. The travel period for the discounted fares is from May 1 to June 15, 2023.
Arik De, chief revenue officer at Etihad Airways, expressed his excitement about the summer sale, stating that they have curated a selection of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with hot deals to help customers take a pre-summer holiday. Etihad Airways aims to make air travel affordable and accessible to all, especially during peak travel seasons, and their latest summer promotion is an effort in that direction.
