NETFLIX’s favourite Katherine Langford is the queen we all wanted to see taking charge and fighting the enemies to protect her people. Before King Arthur, the sword chose a queen and the tales that followed are gripping to watch!
3. Vikings
This show is not for the weak-hearted. Inspired by the famous Norse heroes’ stories of fights and victories, the show follows the legend, Ragnar Lothbrok.
4. Thieves of the woods
Jan de Litche was the outlaw leader from the 18th Century. This show is a historical drama based on his adventurous life.
5. Frontier
We missed Jason Momoa in the later seasons of Games of Thrones. To make it up, here he is, leading this show and making us happy to see him back in action in a fictional period drama.
6. The Last Kingdom
We just can’t get enough of the Norse invaders! Watch this and go on a journey with Uhtred as his loyalties are being texted while he decides his future actions.
7. Reign
The queen of Scots, Mary is on a tumultuous road to survival. Her politics and drama make this show a total binge watch!
