Skipping Breakfast And Hydration:
Not starting your day with food and water is the worst mistake you can ever do. “Breakfast is a huge part of a successful morning routine because it provides you with the energy that you need to focus on whatever it is that you have to go on in the rest of the day,” said Stephanie Nelson, a registered dietitian and in-house nutrition expert for MyFitnessPal. “Hydration plays an important role in our ability to concentrate and be productive. Our brains are strongly influenced by our hydration status,” said Erica Zellner, a health coach with Parsley Health in New York City.
Multitasking:
Well, it is hard to completely avoid multitasking, but too much of it can ruin your productivity. “Multitasking reduces productivity by up to 40% and can have negative long-term effects on the brain,” said Zellner. Monotasking can help your brain to focus on a particular task at once and hence you can finish it faster and better.
The Snooze Button:
Many people have the habit of pressing the snooze button multiple times before actually waking up. Don’t do that. Your body will never know when to actually wake up. Set an alarm and wake up at that time.
