16 Celestial Events You Can’t-Miss In 2025
- February 1: Venus and the Moon meet after sunset.
- February 9: Until February 9, you will be able to the planetary alignment of 6 planets in the sky, including Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune!
- March 2: The Moon and Venus will be seen togetherness.
- March 13-14: A total lunar eclipse, also called a “blood moon,” will paint the sky red.
- March 29: A partial solar eclipse will cast its shadow across the UAE on March 29.
- June 22: Venus, the crescent Moon, and the Pleiades cluster will shine together on June 22.
- July 22: A rare grouping of Venus, Jupiter, and the crescent Moon will appear in the pre-dawn sky.
- August 12: The annual Perseids Meteor show will light up the sky with 150 meteors per hour.
- August 19-20: Look out for Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and the crescent Moon as they line up in the sky.
- September 7: Another total lunar eclipse awaits.
- September 21: A partial solar eclipse will happen as the Saturn Opposition takes place
- October 7: The Hunters Supermoon will shine bright.
- October 21-22: Debris from Halley’s Comet will create the cosmic Orionids Meteor Shower.
- November 5: The Beavermoon will be the closest supermoon to the Earth since 2019.
- November 17-18: Gaze at the last meteor show of 2025 in awe as the Leonids meteor shower passes by.
- December 4: The Cold Moon will be the grand finale of 2025’s celestial displays.
