How many of you feel pressured when going online on whats app that people may see you online and you will have to respond back? That is pretty much me, but soon the trouble will go away. WhatsApp may soon let you hide the “Online” indicator, the one that pops under your name everytime you go on the app. Over the past few years whatsApp has been working on making your experience more private, and with this feature it will surely make a lot of peoples life easier and one of them is me.

The option will be made available in your “last seen” option. The option will soon be called as “Last Seen & Online” option. Where you will be able to select from two options “everyone” or “same as last seen” for your Online indictor. So whatever you select as your last seen, the same can be applied to your online indicator. So you will have the option from everyone, my contacts, my contacts except & nobody.
However the testing phase is still on the and screen shot is taken on IOS but it is soon planning to introduce the same feature in WhatsApp beta for Android and Desktop beta as well.
