Alright, we’re gonna keep this real with you – yes, this is a creative challenge, but there’s also some requirements you need to follow. Don’t let your masterpiece get disqualified because you missed a spec. Here’s the lowdown:

Video Duration: Max 3 minutes. Yep, short and snappy – but powerful. Every second counts, so keep your visuals tight and your storytelling tighter.

Format: For preview: MP4, For final projection: High-resolution MOV
You’ll need to submit both – so make sure your tech game is as strong as your creative vision.

Audio Requirements:

  • The preview video must include music integrated into it.
  • A separate audio file must also be submitted for the actual projection.
  • And this is important: make sure the music is copyright-free. No exceptions. We don’t want anyone getting sued here.

Here’s What Else You Need To Submit

Include a short write-up – 300 words max – explaining the inspiration and story behind your design. Make it personal, powerful, and aligned with the message you’re projecting.

In case you need more clarity, no stress – Emaar’s got your back. You can download a template with detailed projection specs and a full projection manual from the Burj Khalifa website to help guide you through the process. Super useful if you’re unsure how to map your design onto a 2,700-foot-tall canvas.
