While you can literally shop till you drop in the malls of Dubai, you also have to battle crazy crowds, loads of walking and huge parking lines – especially on the weeknds. The Mall Of Emirates has solved a tiny bit of that problem by introducing shopping through WhatsApp, where residents can directly interact and communicate with a digital concierge team for their purchases.
How cool is that!
A leading mall operator – Majid Al Futtaim has enabled the Mall of the Emirates to allow shoppers to buy any product across 350 local and international brands via WhatsApp. This is possible through a digital concierge. This service is absolutely free to consumers.

Fuad Sharaf, managing director for UAE shopping malls at Majid Al Futtaim Properties said, “A shopping mall is no longer a traditional business, but more about experiences. In the past, people used to come, shop and leave. But now it is more experiential.”
With more and more businesses going online, this is indeed the logical next step.
“Now, consumers can buy any product from The Mall of the Emirates through WhatsApp where they can interact and communicate with the concierge team. The team can even help customers in purchasing any item from the mall. It is just like the entire mall coming to you.”
