Yas Movies In The Park Is Back & It’s FREE !!

Prepare for the return of a free community favorite event filled with retro films and music, coupled with arcade games and 80s technology sprinkled throughout the festival, providing you with the right nostalgia emotions. Yas Movies in the Park, produced by BRAG in collaboration with Yas Island, is set to be the year’s most traditional event.

Bucket loads of events are taking place on the 5th and 6th of November , 2022. With 6 iconic movies playing throughout the festival including The Lion King, Footloose, Indiana Jones, The Little Mermaid, Back to the Future, and Die Hard, buckle in for this adventurous ride of a trip down the memory lane. There will be a closure of an interactive session for the ages as Footloose will transform into a live theatre spectacle.

The movie line up is scheduled and all are invited from young to young at heart. Kicking off the excitement on day one will see the king of the jungle, Simba, making his acting debut in the 90s classic The Lion King at 5:30 pm. See if Kevin Bacon can overturn his new small town’s ban on dancing in Footloose at 7:30pm in what promises to be a singing and dancing extravaganza. To top off the day, hang onto your hats as Harrison Ford becomes the iconic Indiana Jones as he seeks the Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark at 9:30 pm. Start the journey under the sea as Ariel and Sebastian take the adventure of a lifetime in The Little Mermaid at 5:30 pm. See if Doc and Marty can solve their time travelling woes in Back to the Future at 7:30 pm and watch in terror as Bruce Willis plays John McClane in the classic action thriller, Die Hard, at 9:30 pm , finishes the ride through the rollercoaster of movies.
