A New Ride-Hailing Service Launches In Dubai Called Yango & Here’s Everything You Need To Know

An international ride-hailing app called Yango has made its GCC market debut in Dubai with the introduction of the service. The service was given all required authorizations and given the go-ahead from regional authorities to run in the emirate. More than 20 nations in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa now use the program.

Users only need to download the app, run it, and choose their destination in order to hail a car. The service will notify the closest drivers using the customer’s geolocation. For their rides, users can pick between two tiers: Comfort, which provides pick-ups in high-end vehicles like Lexus ES, and Premier tariff, which guarantees customers luxury vehicles like GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes S-class, and BMW 7 Series automobiles in exchange for a little higher charge. Both tiers’ vehicles will offer water bottles and phone charging cords, while the Premier tier will also offer dates to passengers. Yango, unlike other companies, offers speedy car dispatches thanks to its exclusive technology that assist cut down on the amount of time a driver must spend looking for customers or traveling to their locations. Drivers are only permitted to accept one ride at a time, however if a passenger hails a car close to the location where the driver will be finishing their ride, the driver can plan to pick up the new passenger in advance. This will reduce the number of miles driven by empty cars and help the city’s traffic situation.

“We are delighted to officially announce the launch of our service in Dubai, one of the most influential economic centres in the region, attracting investments and people from all over the world. We believe there is high demand for a premium, high-tech, ride-hailing service, and the highest standards of service, attention to detail and smart technologies that Yango brings to customers can really make a big change. We are excited to present users in Dubai with an advanced ride-hailing service like no other,” said Islam Abdul Karim, general manager for Yango GCC.

One&Only Royal Mirage in Marina to Mall of the Emirates will cost roughly AED 52.5 in the Comfort tier and AED 56 in the Premier tier, while La Mer Beach to Dubai Mall will cost approximately AED 39 in the Comfort tier and AED 42 in the Premier tier.

The App Store and Google Play both provide the Yango app for free download in a variety of languages, including Arabic and English.
