Validity Of Alhosn Green Pass Has Been Extended For The Fully Vaccinated

The validity of the Alhosn Green Pass following a negative PCR test will be expanded from 14 days to 30 days, effective today, Friday, April 29, 2022, according to an update to the emirate’s public health policy released by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee.

Although a Green Pass is no longer required to enter the emirate of Abu Dhabi by road or air, it is still required to enter most public venues such as malls, hotels, restaurants, and gyms. Although several tourist destinations, events, and cultural venues are now accepting negative PCR testing (within 48 hours) in place of the Green Pass.

On the official site, here are some new rules stated for Abu Dhabi, “Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has approved a return to 100 per cent operating capacity in all commercial activities, tourist attractions, and events in the emirate. It has also approved an extension of the green pass validity period from 14 to 30 days for those who are fully vaccinated. Continued wearing of masks is required in indoor spaces. The updates are effective from Friday, 29 April 2022, in line with the maintained low Covid-19 infection rate.”
