26 years ago when Internet Explorer came out it changed the way we accessed the internet. People would sit in front of their PCs for hours and hours and surf the internet. But finally, it has come to an end. Microsoft’s announced that they will be killing Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022. It was one hell of a journey.
In a blog post, Microsoft’s partner group program manager, Sean Lyndersay wrote this, “Today, we are at the next stage of that journey: we are announcing that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge. Not only is Microsoft Edge a faster, more secure and more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer, but it is also able to address a key concern: compatibility for older, legacy websites and applications.”
