On Tuesday, the UAE announced that all educational institutions and schools will resume with full capacity from January 2022. The second semester of the year will take place at full capacity. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced the updated protocols for teaching staff and students. These updated rules were issued during NCEMA’s weekly media briefing on Tuesday.
Along with this, the authority has advised administrative staff, teaching staff and students to take the booster shot of the Covid 19 vaccine. Since the mutants of this virus are spreading continuously, this step will help curb the spread. Vaccination is compulsory for university students living in dorms, else students will have to show a weekly negative PCR test before entering their dorm.
