Ras Al Khaimah property developers are partnering with Wynn Resorts, a Las Vegas hotel group, to build a worth billions of dollars resort with its own ‘gaming area.’ RAK Hospitality Holding is partnering up with Wynn Resort to create their own massive hotel complex on the man-made Al Marjan Island, which is set to open in 2026.
It will have around 1,000 rooms, as well as ten cafes and restaurants. There is also a ‘gaming area.’ A new section will be established by the RAK tourism authority to regulate ‘gaming facilities.’ The ‘game area’ has yet to be revealed by the makers. However, we expect them to draw on the ‘gaming’ knowledge of the Wynn Resort to produce something unique and memorable in the region.
Eng. Abdulla Al Abdooli, CEO of Marjan, said “The integrated development, featuring a world-class hotel, entertainment and gaming amenities, will add to the Emirate’s destination strategy to attract tourists from across the world. We are partnering with Wynn Resorts, one of the world’s most renowned integrated resort companies, which has a strong track record of developing luxury destinations with exceptional accommodation, dining, entertainment concepts and gaming facilities. By leveraging Wynn Resorts’ expertise in developing luxury hospitality destinations, the new development will raise the benchmark in luxury hospitality in the region. It will also create exceptional value to the Ras Al Khaimah economy and boost the leisure, business, and MICE tourism sectors.
