Back in July 2015, the petrol prices were AED 1.72, jumping to today, Sunday, August 1, 2021, it is AED 2.58 per litre. If seen only for this year, the petrol prices in the UAE have jumped almost 40% in the past six months. In January 2021, it was just AED 1.91, which is a rise of more than 35% till now. Though the UAE petrol prices are quite less when compared to other countries, they are rising quite gradually. Right now, it is better to go green and ride in an electric car!
