New 15 km Bike Trail Called Trail X Opens On Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, inaugurated Trail X, the first mountain bike trail of its kind in Abu Dhabi, on Hudayriyat Island.

Trail X Opens On Hudayriyat Island

Abu Dhabi already has so much to show off about. Hudayriyat Island already has a beautiful Glamping Experience as well as a gorgeous beach for people to chill. It is the perfect place in Abu Dhabi to exercise, have fun, and meet new people. Adding to the Hudayriyat Mar Vista’s modern facilities and outdoor attractions is the new Trail X!

Trail X is a mountain biking, or off-road bicycle racing, sport facility that is set on rough terrain mimicking mountain, desert and rocks. Mountain biking is an adventurous activity that requires endurance, core strength, balance, bike handling skills, and self-reliance, and is practiced using specially designed mountain bikes.

–    Trail X is the one and only mountain bike trail in Abu Dhabi
–    The trail spans 15 km in length
–    4 difficulty levels that are colour coded: Green, Blue, Red and Black
–    Uninterrupted trails
–    Over and Under passes through the existing road bike trail
–    Mounds and hills to create a particular mountain bike trail character
–    Xeriscape landscape to complement the topographical experience
–    Difficulties for all age groups and all endurance levels
–    During events, trails are separated into 2 sections:
Amateur / local level
Professional / International Level
