The UAE Muay Thai Championship 2023 is a martial arts competition that was hosted by the UAE Muay Thai Kickboxing Federation. The event took place from January 27th to January 29th, 2023 at ADNEC Marina Hall in Abu Dhabi and featured competitions for both male and female athletes from around the world.
The competition was open for registration by invitation only to UAE Federations GYM Member Participating Athletes. Of the teams that competed, the Muay Thai Muppets secured 4 medals, putting them at third in medal placements out of all the gyms in the UAE.
The team was coached by none other than veteran gymnasian Jason Woodham, with over 20 years experience at world class level. The entire team was put through a gruelling 6 week training camp in preparation for the event.

Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a form of martial arts originating from Thailand that is known for its powerful strikes and close-range combat. The sport has gained popularity all around the world and is now recognized as a professional sport. The UAE Muay Thai Championship 2023 provides a platform for talented athletes to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.
The competition brought together around 150 athletes from all six continents, making it a truly international event.
