In a city that’s filled with mesmerising sky scrapers, and moon shaped resorts, it is very hard to impress. But the new Atlantis The Royal Hotel just released its first look & drone footage, and we are absolutely stunned! Not only is the hotel structure absolutely mesmerising, and will stand out starkly against the Dubai skyline, but its also loaded with crazy restaurants & a lot of Dubai firsts.

When you have lavish wealth, you want a lavish lifestyle. Catering to the uber-rich (think Dubai Bling), the most prized rooms at the resort will be the ‘Signature Penthouses’ and the 44 luxury suites. The rooms will feature a bespoke selection of amenities from luxury brands including Hermes, Frette and Graff.
Each of these rooms will have their own ‘elite butler service’, private infinity pools and even a pillow menu from buckwheat to memory foam. Talk about pampering & comfort. With guests’ comfort being of prime importance, you’ll never have to get up to even flick a switch. Guests will be able to control their room’s thermostat, lighting, television and other amenities via their mobile phones itself.
When you’ve set the bar so high, the food & beverage better be off the roof. Atlantis The Royal, a sister property to hotel Atlantis The Palm, will feature 17 restaurants and bars. Guests will be offered dishes by ‘pioneering chefs’ and ‘show-stopping experiences’. Think Gaston Acurio, Ariana Bundy, Costas Spiliadis and Jose Andres.
A crowning jewel will have to be the first ever cocktail bar by Heston Blumenthal named Resonance by Heston Blumenthal – in the resort. It will feature a 21 feet high aquarium, housing 4,000 moon jellyfish – making it the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium. The resort will also feature an outpost of Blumenthal’s Dinner restaurant, the original of which in London boasts two Michelin stars.

Located on the 22nd floor, the entertainment zone promises a ‘late-night party experience’ in Pan-Asian restaurant Ling Ling with a 360-degree view of the Arabian Gulf and glittering Dubai Skyline’.
Tim Kelly, Managing Director of Atlantis Dubai, says: ‘This is it. Our moment is finally here to reveal Atlantis The Royal as the world’s most ultra-luxury entertainment resort. Openings of resorts like this one only come around once or twice in a decade, and we can’t wait to share it with the world. As these new images demonstrate, this is a resort like no other and the building itself will become an instantly recognisable icon of the Dubai skyline. We are excited to begin welcoming guests next year and treat them to an experience they’ll never forget.’
