Meet Sisu, A Stray Dog Who Kept Stealing A Stuffed Unicorn, Now Finds A Home With It

Sisu is a stray dog who was caught multiple times at a Dollar General store in Kenansville, North Carolina doing the same thing again and again: trying to steal a purple stuffed unicorn toy. “He went straight for the unicorn, the same one every time,” said Joe Newburn of Duplin County Animal Services.

Employees at the Dollar Store ultimately had to call animal services to solve the matter. One of the officers offered to purchase the $10 unicorn for the dog, to give him some much-needed company at the shelter.

“This is what happens when you break into the dollar general consistently to steal the purple unicorn that you layed claim to but then get animal control called to lock you up for your B & E and larceny but the officer purchases your item for you and brings it in with you,” the post said, accompanying a photo of Sisu with his head resting on his stuffed friend.
Sisu has now finally found a home and his owners have gladly welcomed him and his stuffed friend.
