An elderly man from Kerala, India, donated about AED 10,000 (rs. 2 lakh) to the Chief Minister’s Covid Relief Fund, keeping only about AED 42 (rs. 850) for himself. Both the state’s Finance Minister (Thomas Isaac) and Chief Minister (Pinarayi Vijayan) shared his contribution on their Twitter account.
Keral rallies to #vaccinechallenge . A beedi worker from Kannur donates ₹2lakhs to CMDRF leaving just ₹850 in his account. Bank staff hesitated but his answer was that he could still roll beedies and also was entitled to disability pension. We are humbled by response of people.

Many heart warming stories are coming up about donations to the CMDRF, including that of an elderly man who donated 2L from his savings bank account which had Rs. 200,850 in it. It is this love for one another that sets us apart. Once again, thank each and every one of you!
